On the Liberty front I hope the week ahead will bear good fruit in spite of the efforts by freedom’s adversaries to knock us off our rightful perch to lawfully resist. The subject line verse from Charles Spurgeon is worthy of reflection. God helps those who humbly submit to the Lordship of His Son and prayerfully seek to do His will daily. The Framers gave us the only bottom up Constitutional Republic that has ever been. We are the only ones who can take hold of the shackles being used to control us and remove them. William Penn echoed the hearts of the other framers: “Wear none of thine own chains; but keep free, whilst thou art free.”
We are powerless without the truth of God’s revelation through Scripture and His Spirit. We’re also powerless without each other locking arms united around the Constitution. The full throated assault on our freedom won’t self correct without everyone getting involved our children and grandchildren are depending on us!

Movie Moment
The movie Shawshank Redemption was well directed and acted and is a reminder of what it can take to see freedom. Andy methodically bore a hole in his prison cell wall day by day inch by inch until he punctured the outside block and could scurry through the sewer pipe and escape. We are in prison and don’t know it. From the toilets we’re forced to use to the supersonic electricity prices to property taxes to own an automobile to unconstitutional codes and statutes we’re in bondage to government. It took Andy several years to escape may the Lord give us the strength and perseverance to persist day by day. Be inspired by Andy HERE
