As we celebrate Passover and Easter it’s a good time to reflect on the eternal over the temporal, silence over noise, peace over fear. When Mary Magdalene wept outside the empty tomb thinking that the Romans had taken Jesus’s body away for burial the Lord comforted her and turned her mourning into dancing. There’s a temptation to let news feeds rule our emotions. The truth is our hearts will rule our emotions when we live a life in complete surrender to the Redeemer. We then live by faith rather than sight which spurs us on to good works and righteousness. Learning and praying over the Constitution will open our eyes to the power of the republican form of government which the founders gave us that is from the Divine hand of Providence.
The heart of the American experiment is having a republican form of government that is bottom up in it’s hierarchy giving power to the states and the people. Its now or never for the people to uphold our end of the bargain or we will all suffer. We’re approaching the edge of a steep cliff where falling off will be fatal. For all who will come after us we mustn’t let it happen.

First Amendment Petitions
The remedy the framers gave us through the Constitution is interposition using First Amendment petitions and Republic Review. ReclaimingtheRepublic.org has a repository of petitions which they’ve graciously shared with Loudoun Liberty.
They’re viewable online, and can be downloaded as a pdf and customized for your county.
Our calls are scheduled for Wednesday at 11 and Friday at 6:30 EST. God willing reminders go out the day before.

Movie Moment
THE PASSION- -A depiction of the last twelve hours in the life of Jesus of Nazareth, on the day of his crucifixion in Jerusalem. The story opens in the Garden of Olives where Jesus has gone to pray after the Last Supper. Betrayed by Judas Iscariot, the controversial Jesus–who has performed ‘miracles’ and has publicly announced that he is ‘the Son of God’–is arrested and taken back within the city walls of Jerusalem. There, the leaders of the Pharisees confront him with accusations of blasphemy; subsequently, his trial results with the leaders condemning him to his death. Jesus is brought before Pontius Pilate, the prefect of the Roman province of Judaea, for his sentencing. Pilate listens to the accusations leveled at Jesus by the Pharisees. Realizing that his own decision will cause him to become embroiled in a political conflict, Pilate defers to King Herod in deciding the matter of how to persecute Jesus.
This clip is a moving high point when all of the Lord’s adversaries realized He was indeed the Son of God. Pilate, Caiaphas, the Roman soldiers and centurions were shaken to he core. The earth quaked, the temple curtain was torn from top to bottom, rocks were split, graves were opened and the dead raised. May the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus shake us from unbelief to saving and enduring faith. HERE
Regarding our stand for liberty it’s time for us to be doers for it is indeed now or never. Let’s heed Benjamin Franklin’s famous answer to the question about the kind of government we have in America: “Madame, it’s a republic if you can keep it”.
What an amazing time to be alive. Let’s shed the comfort to reclaim what has been taken, doing it for our progeny and all those who’ve sacrificed so much.
