Spring is in the air here in Virginia (80’s this coming week!) I hope the Grace of earth’s reawakening is apparent and celebrated where you are.
We’re in a time where ‘relative’ truth dominates decision making and behavior. Everyone is encouraged to pursue their own truth which has consequences on marriage, divorce, sexual ethics, self over service, pride over humility, greed over gratefulness, hate over love, anxiety over peace and anger over joy. Relative truth leads to exaltation of oneself. Absolute truth is unwavering and independent of human emotion and opinion and is anchored by the Word of God.
“The truth will set you free” is a common saying in academic circles that want to promote academic freedom and the power of learning. Many universities have this statement emblazoned on a sign near the entrance of a building. But “the truth will set you free” did not originate in academia; Jesus said it in John 8:32. In context, Jesus’ statement has nothing to do with classroom learning. In fact, John 8:32 speaks of a higher form of knowledge than is capable of being learned in a classroom. Of course Jesus was identifying Himself as The Truth and those who were truly His Disciples will be set free from the penalty of sin.
Relative truth that is unmoored to a capstone of legal, moral, historical or religious certitude leads to confusion, chaos, conflict and ultimately bondage. The US Constitution is the bedrock of our republic and is clear, concise and the crown jewel of liberty proclaiming absolute truth about Yahweh, man and government. May we reclaim the freedoms we’ve lost by learning the constitution and holding elected officials accountable to their oath of office. Freedom will ring again when the people do what’s required. Yes and Amen!
To the question of the invasion, I would observe that there has never been a period in all these long centuries of which we boast when an absolute guarantee against invasion could have been given to our people.
But I have, myself, full confidence that if all do their duty, if nothing is neglected, and the best arrangements are made, as they are being made, we shall prove ourselves once more able to defend our Island Home, to ride out the storm of war, and to outlive the menace of tyranny, if necessary for years, if necessary alone.
At any rate, that is what we are — are going to try to do. That is the resolve of His Majesty’s Government, every man of them. That is the will of Parliament and the nation.
The British Empire and the French Republic, linked together in their cause and in their need, will defend to the death their native soil, aiding each other like good comrades to the utmost of their strength.
Even though large tracts of Europe and many old and famous states have — have fallen or may fall into the — the grip of the Gestapo and all the odious apparatus of the Nazi rule, we shall not flag or fail.
We shall go on to the end! We shall fight in France.
We shall fight on the seas and the oceans.
We shall fight with — with growing confidence and growing strength in the air.
We shall defend our island whatever the cost may be!
We shall fight on the beaches.
We shall fight on the landing grounds.
We shall fight in the fields and in the streets.
We shall fight in the hills.
We shall never surrender!
What’s happening in DC is a shiny penny intended to distract us from the work at hand which is to bring our counties into compliance with the Constitution. Together we can do this🙂!

We’re charged to “pray, learn, act“. Working together and laying aside egos and demands we will reclaim the republic. As the master of malaprops Yogi Berra points out; “Keep trying. Stay humble, Trust your instincts. Most importantly, act. When you come to a fork in the road, take it.” We’re at the fork in the road it’s time to take the other fork!

The remedy the framers gave us through the Constitution is interposition using First Amendment petitions and Republic Review. ReclaimingtheRepublic.org has a repository of petitions which they’ve graciously shared with Loudoun Liberty.
They’re viewable online, and can be downloaded as a pdf and customized for your county.
Our calls are scheduled for Wednesday at 11 and Friday at 6:30 EST. God willing reminders go out the day before.

The suffocating taxes and regulations at every level of government, corrupt court system, slavish and stifling bureaucracy, AI-PAC albatross-like influence, favored industry subsidies that increase prices, individual unwarranted surveillance and on and on.

THE RAINMAKER -Struggling new attorney Rudy Baylor (Matt Damon) resorts to working for a shady lawyer (Mickey Rourke), where he meets paralegal Deck Shifflet (Danny DeVito). When the insurance company of Dot Black (Mary Kay Place) refuses her dying son coverage, Baylor and Shifflet team up to fight the corrupt corporation, taking on its callous lawyer (Jon Voight). In this scene Rudy’s closing argument takes on the powerful insurance company by playing a film of the victim’s dying words which causes the disgraced CEO to leave the courtroom. We’re in a similar dystopian novel where the rich and powerful get away with pillaging the middle class to prop up the elites rapacious lifestyles. The past five years we’ve seen what an intrusive and lawless government coupled with apathy and fear can do. The constitution gives us the power to say no mas just as Rudy did! HERE What an amazing time to be alive. Let’s shed the comfort to reclaim what has been taken, doing it for our progeny and all those who’ve sacrificed so much.
